P.A.R.T.Y. (Public Art Reimagining Tour with You)

Chicago Public Art Program  >  P.A.R.T.Y.

The Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE) has launched an initiative to develop a Public Art Vision Plan for each INVEST South/West neighborhood. Each plan will outline public art themes, types, and locations unique to each neighborhood, contributing to its revitalization. The artist-led public engagement campaign – P.A.R.T.Y. (Public Art Reimagining Tour with You) – seeks community input to guide investment priorities by leading an initial series of public input events in Englewood Bronzeville, Austin, and Auburn Gresham. The artist-led engagement team includes Englewood Arts Collective, Vanessa Stokes/VS Creative Consulting, and The Floating Museum, with planning support from Borderless Studio and PORT.
